In addition, the cell phone company charges 25 cents per megabyte of data download. Each brother pays for his own downloaded data. John's share of the current cell phone bill is $147.50. which equation determines how many megabytes of data john downloaded?A. 90+0.25x=147.50B. 90x+0.25=147.50C. 22.5+0.25x=147.50D. 22.5x+0.25=147.50

Accepted Solution

A:
ok...so u have 4 people sharing this plan...they each pay for their own data..however, the $ 90 flat rate is split between them equally.
90/4 = 22.5....so each of them pay 22.50 each for the flat rate.

so John's equation is : 22.5 + 0.25x = 147.50
